We're pleased to announce that Harry Baldwin will be joining us on keyboards with immediate effect. Harry an extremely experienced musician based in Worcester beat off strong competition for the job and joins Blind Lemon from another local Worcestershire band. We see Harry's appointment as very positive move musically. Importantly he also shares our passion, drive and enthusiasm for playing live. Harry's going to be busy over the next few weeks learning our set and should debut with us Keystones, Worcester on the 8 May 2010.
Onwards and upwards.

Harry replaces Rob Allen who was with the band for 11 years. We all enjoyed his company and we'd also echo what he said in his resignation email "It was a blast". We'd like to wish him all the best in his future musical projects in Runcorn.
We're continually improving our equipment in Blind Lemon to ensure we give the best possible show. 2008 saw us invest around £3k in a new state-of-the-art lighting rig and last year we struck out and upgraded our PA system.
The motivating factor for the new more powerful system was not just about volume, but the quality of the sound. The RCF 4 Pro system boasts up to 6KW of power and will comfortably deal with venues up to about 500 people and is great in marquees which are notoriously power hungry. Another important feature for us is that it is modular and can be scaled up or importantly down for smaller venues.
We have now had the opportunity to use the system at a variety of functions and venues big and small. We're pleased to say it has exeeded our expectations.
Of course the equipment would be useless without our crew: Si Hastie - lighting engineer and Matt Jeanes - sound engineer.
Blind Lemon are pleased to announce the launch of their very own social network. You will be able to create your own profile, upload your own pix or video, and even chat with each other and the band. All you have to do is sign up to this free service. Please follow this link to sign up.
